What it’s like

Hakushu is Suntory’s distillery in a forest in the Japanese Alps, and its malt has a fresh, green character all of its own. The no-age-statement version combines fresh grass, green apple, mint and soft, delicate smoke, with a clean finish. It is very different from other, sweeter Japanese malts. It works wonderfully in a highball and is ideal for those after freshness with a smoky touch.
