What it’s like

Filey Bay is the malt from Spirit of Yorkshire, a distillery in the north of England that grows its own barley on the family farm, a few kilometres from the coast. It distils and matures it on the same estate, under the name of a nearby bay. Flagship matures in bourbon casks and is fresh and fruity, with cereal, vanilla, honey and tropical fruit. It is bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose
Tropical fruit, vanilla, cereal and a touch of honey and flowers.
Palate
Fresh. Fruit, caramel, vanilla, sweet cereal and soft spice, with a floral touch.
Finish
Medium, clean and fruity, with a hint of vanilla and fruit.
