It brings together malts and grain whiskies from different parts of Scotland in a rounded whole, with ripe fruit, almond and soft spice, and a very discreet thread of smoke in the background. It is a whisky to drink slowly, ideal for those who already know the usual blends and want to see what age brings to a well-built blend.
