What it’s like

A single-distillery grain whisky from Chita, which Suntory normally uses as the base for blends such as Hibiki. On its own it is light, smooth and sweet: honey, vanilla, mint and a touch of wood. Its delicacy makes it perfect for the highball, the most popular Japanese way to drink whisky. It is a good option for discovering what grain whisky brings and for those after something very easy to drink.

Nose
Honey, vanilla and mint, with a floral touch and soft wood.
Palate
Light and sweet. Honey, cream, soft spice and a hint of citrus.
Finish
Short to medium, clean and sweet, with a hint of vanilla.
